The Mystery Band is back at the Morseland Cafe in Rogers Park (Chicago) for the early Saturday evening blues series. This version of the Mystery Band will include Jimmy Burns' backing band (Anthony Palmer on guitar, E.G. McDaniels on bass, james Carter on drums) plus the great Shoji Naito on guitar!! Mini-Review: Yikes! The band was crazy tight! James Carter and E.G. McDaniel seem to read each other's mind - Mr. G has never heard a bass player and a drummer work so seamlessly. Tony Palmer roared and Shoji kicked it old skool with the Muddy Waters slide guitar work. The Morseland is a terrific venue!!
